DRUMLINE PERFORMS SATURDAY AT DECATUR CENTRAL
The PHS Drumline has an explosive, high-energy show this season – and their journey to Dayton begins Saturday at nearby Decatur Central High School. This contest will also give you a sneak peek at all the competition for the year, so be sure that you don’t miss it. PHS takes the floor for competition at 6 p.m. Here’s the complete schedule:
11:30 - Rehearsal
2:30 - Dress for Performance (bring a sack lunch) and load bus (5:35)
3:30 - Depart for Decatur Central HS
4:00 - Arrive (unload truck)
4:15 - Unload truck
5:15 - Pre-Warm-up
5:00 - Transit to warm-up (ALL TARP/EQUIP HELP IN PLACE)
5:20 - Warm-up
5:40 - Transit to Performance Area
6:00 - PERFORMANCE (load truck and change after performance)
8:10 - Awards
8:45 - Depart for Plainfield
9:30 - Arrive Plainfield Unload truck
Doors open at 11:00 AM. Our class begins at 5:20. Admission should be $5. Students should bring a sack lunch for after rehearsal and money for concessions at contest after performance. Each member is responsible for his/her own equipment and uniform.
BAND BOOSTER MEETING: TUESDAY 2/21
The next meeting of the PHS Band Boosters will take place on Tuesday, February 21. The Board of Directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the band room (everyone is welcome to attend), followed by the general meeting at 7:30 p.m.

- Pit equipment upgrades
- Chaperones for contest days
- Band Dads/Moms to move equipment at contests
ONE MORE PEP BAND PERFORMANCE
The Pep band makes its last appearance of the school year at the boys’ basketball game against Columbus East on Friday, February 24. Don’t miss it!
TRASH BAGS FOR SPRING CLEANING!
What can you do with all that stuff you’re ready to pitch? Put it in trash bags to help the Band Boosters! Sales forms are on the Fund Raising page or else you can just make a list on any piece of paper. When you are ready to fill your new orders, please contact either Randi Brinker (979-0860) or Bill Bloom (839-4806). Orders are prepaid and checks should be made out to PHS Band Boosters.
