MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Gratitude and many thanks to all Band Boosters and friends who volunteered for the band festival on September 17th.
I cannot find the words to thank all of you for working so hard to make our annual band festival a success. Your tireless hours of work, unselfishness, and determination at making this festival happen and succeed proved your sincere intentions. Congratulations on a job very well done, congratulations for belonging to a great band family, congratulations for having earned the way to the hearts of all the band kids, and for helping make high school an exceptionally positive experience that will stay with them for life (and with you, too)! Thank you again, Suzanne

ARE YOUR KIDS RENTING SOCKS? Last year, so many kids were forgetting black socks that the Uniform Moms decided to rent socks for $1/pair and hold the kids’ shoes hostage until the socks were returned. That ended the missing sock problem.
But this year, Uniform Mom Kathy Baker tells us that more kids have been forgetting socks than ever before. Please remind your kids to bring their black socks to competition and to bring them back home to be washed. The Uniform Moms do not wash socks, so if your band member isn’t making that weekly contribution to the family’s laundry, it’s going to be unpleasantly noticeable pretty soon!
PAID FOR THOSE PIZZAS YET? If you son or daughter hasn’t sent in pizza money yet, please do so ASAP. Money was due last Friday.
